Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. Automated voice messaging informing that £500 for gambling + another amount was taken from my account. I replaced the handset after being instructed to press 1, 2 or 3. Checked my account none the less. It was definitely a scammed call.

They said they were calling from HMRC adout a returned tax letter and that I was going to be prosecuted.
From a so called energy advice centre - wanted to know house ownership info, fuel used for heating, age of boiler, age of house, whether any renewal energy installed - clearly did not like my answers as he then cut the call off. Annoying and potentially dangerous if it had continued

SCAM received several phone calls via WhatsApp demanding payment for providing a service befor anything would be done. Lady admitted was of German origin and was ringing from Bournemouth. Payment was to be via PayPal or Amazon gift cards only, on refusal became more aggressive.

got a text from Halifax saying did you use your card for 103.00 GBP, if yes reply Yes, If No call 08004370296 - checked with Halifax and this is not their phone number If you do call the number it goes through Halifax Fraud but this is a scam
I live in Belgium and recieven several phone calls from this number. I saw them as missed calls. When I rang back I got the message that the number is not in use.
Recorded message purporting to be from VISA security advising of two debits to my card, and asking my to press a number to speak to them. Lack of customer name or even name of card issuer made call to generic to be legit, so looks like a scam. However since number is a landline looks like the recorded number is also bogus

Claimed to be from currys, offered dodgy 40% off. Same promotion as a scam ee call previous day.
Missed call No message or text. Called back, message said "state your name and say 6". I said "Sydney James Six" a couple of times but nothing happened. Why would I tell someone my real name so they could associate it with my phone number? Sounds very suspicious
