I received a call from this number earlier, I asked him to remove my number from their database, he then said do you not want to know why I m calling you, I said right just get on with it, he then Sai that if I wasn t interested to hang up, he was quite aggressive and I asked to speak to his manager and was told to p*** off and he hung up, I have now blocked the number on my phone. SCAM - pretend to be Airbnb wanting a confirmation payment working as part of a group advertising false flats via Facebook marketplace for rent to be booked through Airbnb for a couple of months before going onto a rental agreement with the ‘host’ - once money is paid they say that someone from air bnb will be in touch to hand over keys and sign agreements etc but never hear from them again.
