SCAM just about to check my accounts ( just in case I’m wrong!) but it was a recorded call alleging a suspicious transaction to a money transfer service. No bank id provided and asked to press buttons to connect to “service team”

SCAM Said he was calling from the Public Advice Centre????!!!! Replaced receiver and terminated call.
The plurality of call attempts never a message was left on the answering machine. I do not go in unknown actually on it, but with this I did it but then and what was it? And they laid on! Impudence.

SCAM Initially silent, then asked me if it's me on the phone (he knew my name) and then said he's calling from a loan company. When I started asking questions, he hang up.
SCAM The guy calls and says the warranty on my 13 year old machine is expiring today and as its still in woorking order, they have an offer from £12pm to £9pm... I didnt even have warranty on the machine. I hung up the call, he calls back and says : Are you feeling alright? I asked him, ARE YOU FEELING ALRIGHT? and hung up on the c*** again. The call was made by a Far Eastern sounding Male. The line was very bad with lots of interference - I could not make out what he was saying apart from the fact that there was something to do with BT - I hung up because the reception was just too bad and my service provider is not BT
