The caller called no company name and required a man unknown to me. I told her that she would have been there probably dialed the wrong number and she said no, that is in my way on the list. I meant that their list is wrong then and hung up. Since then try it again and again.

we were called in Cape Town from this number inquiring about stopping a supposed unauthorised credit card payment. This appears to be a scam.

I have had several missed calls so when I answered a guy with a northern accent asked for myself (although had my maiden name and I have been married for 6years!) then he said he was calling regarding my insurance up for renewal and asked if that was correct... there was something very dodgy about this guy though as he kept repeating himself and was also laughing!!! I just apologised and said I was at work and cut him off. I have since blocked the number!

This number was given to me by Visa Card Scammers, when I questioned the quality of the call. They asked for my bank sort code, (I gave them one that I knew from Coventry) Then in an effort to prove they were legit, proceeded to tell me where my bank was. This scam revolves around a supposed transaction from your bank card. Never tell these guys any real information.
SCAM Saying they are calling from sky about my slow broadband speed, considering I'm not with sky i decided to keep them talking until I got bored the told the to f$%€ off, they called back a few hours later with the same crap, and continuously kept ringing until i picked up the phone, I.told them in my best Indian accent to f%%% off bloody b@$%/÷$ and I will kill them... not heard back yet

The call from this number was supposedly from BT saying my landline was to be cut off. I checked with my provider who confirmed this was a scam call as none of my service is from BT. My provider has referred the number to their specialist department for investigation.
