SCAM Call This is a scam number. It is a Broadband scam. They a message first states your broadband is being hacked and has large actvities being undertaken on the broadband. It then askes you to press 1 to talk to someone in the technical team. I pressed 1 and a man with an indian accent stated that i should get my computer so he can guide me on what to do to rid the broadband hackers. I hung up the phone on this request.

SCAM Phone call received with a recorded American accent informing me that I was under criminal investigation
Saying that I was due a hearing test and may be due a payment because of previously working in a noisy construction work environment. This was false info as I have never worked in that environment. Caller also knew my first name and street. Terminated the call.

SCAM FRAUD. I got a call from a 07 mobile number prior to this call. Both of them is an automated message saying a letter from HRM Revenue was sent to you but was returned. Legal action will be taken against you, press 1 to bla bla bla. I didn’t even bother to listen to the rest because there is no reason for HRM Revenue to contact me. A Google search suggests that the number, if genuine, belongs to a company called Steel Plus 1, based in Romford, Essex.
SCAM - pretends to be from Microsoft saying computer has downloaded malicious software. Gets recipient to go to PC. Identifies PC/Mac by asking to describe keyboard. For mac uses Spotlight to launch console - didn’t run with it any further. Caller does know the name accociated with the phone number. Caller has strong asian accent with a regular uk name.
