This is a genuine Santander Fraud Department number. However I suggest you always call your bank using the number on the back of your Debit/Credit Card to check. This what I did and it was confirmed my Debit Card was being used by criminals, so needed cancelling and replacing.

This is a company called Business Advisory Services who appear to be a genuine energy broker but they are aggressive and pushy on the phone. They don t really declare that they are a broker and ask for information on your energy bills. Having established they are a broker, I told them we have an energy broker we are very happy with. This is a Scam currently being perpetrated against UK residents. A recorded voice tells you that the call comes from your bank and £600 has been taken from your credit card, if you did not authorise this then press 1. I have confirmed with both my bank and the bank used by my business and both are aware of this Scam. There is no name available but I think the business could well be called "The Bar Stewards".

This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.
