I have received calls from this number several times. When I answer it tell me the call was not important. I call back and a message just repeats that I am caller number 2 waiting to speak with a representative. It just repeats and repeats and I get to speak with anyone.

SCAM claiming tobe HMRC.
Fraud Call was recorded message purporting to be from Amazon and saying that payent of £399 had been taken for my order, if I did not authorise this press 1. So hung up, so obviously a fraud. Caller ID on phone showed a local geographical number, most likely that this was fake. Telecoms companies should have a way of identifying the origin of these calls and should really address this lawbreaking, ie conspiracy to commit fraud.

Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. Scam call claiming to be British Gas regarding our electricity renewal - caller didn't sound professional, was in an overseas call centre by the sounds of it, didn't know the account holders name and said he couldn't give me a contact number to call them back on, he has to call me directly apparently.... took me about 10 seconds to find the renewal department contact number online so I'm confused why he said he couldn't give me one.
