Text message from this number saying there was a suspicious log in on my PayPal account from a month ago. Gave me a random website, which was not PayPal, that I had to go to immediately to reset my account. Deleted the text and blocked the number

Obvious call centre noise background noise as soon as I answered, with a delay before anyone responded. The caller had an extremely strong Asian/Indian accent and told me his name was Paul Simon (yeah, right!) calling from Norfolk County Council about a recent accident I d had. SCAM - left an automated voicemail saying they're investigating criminal activity in regards to recent financial transactions and said 'press 1 for more information and legal charges', which is clearly not possible on a voicemail. Definitely scamming people.
Keeps phoning my number asking why we phoned when we had not. Starts asking personal details which we refused to give. He refused to give his details although he said he was called Robert. I think not. Chancer & rip off merchant. Do not be taken in by this scammer.
