Lady with Indian accent claiming to be from "The Phone House Company" and wanting to upgrade me to a new iPhone 11. I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. Phoned me. Background noise suggested I was being called from an overseas call centre. Caller had an Asian accent. When I started to ask where her company was based she replied “ Manchester”. When I asked further questions she put the phone down on me. Suspicious.
It was someone claiming to be my daughter saying she had lost her phone and to ring her back on the above number. Daughter was with me at the time she definitely hadn't lost her phone. So in my opinion it was a scam.

Call from this number 020 7928 4189 on 22/03/2023 saying they were from my bank as two unrecognized payments were going out. As the number called is a work number there is no way it is a call from MY bank Yet another scam :-(

The caller was an Indian man who knew my name, but refused to tell me his name or which company he is calling on behalf of. He hung up after I told him I will take legal action against unsolicited and junk calls.
SCAM - Phoning me about loft insulation. That's funny, the address they phoned is a first floor flat, with no loft. I was about to explain that, and they hung up.

Fraud - recorded voice saying wanted by Inland revenue for not paying taxes and would arrested if I didn’t resolve.
SCAM Received a call this morning, they claimed to be Amazon saying they had taken £3,000 from my account. Good luck with that! I told them that I didn't mind and that Amazon can have every penny that I own, then put the phone down.

FRAUD Had the same call yesterday but different local number Foreign voice saying he was called John Claiming to be card security and asked for my bank name. I asked which card and they hung up. Yesterday, after they had made some wild guesses at my details which a genuine caller would know, I got proposals of marriage from the so called "manager"????
Didn't recognise the number so let it go to answerphone no message left so I can only surmise it's someone trying to sell something as otherwise they would have left a message.
