Some scammer from "Sky Refunds" needed my Date of Birth in order to process a refund for £202. I don t have a Sky account. Asked him why he needed my Date of Birt...

Said they were affiliated with the Euromillions. Told me I had entered a competition for a ?500 tesco voucher and that s how he had got my details. Absolute tosh..... I know that s another scam! Called me twice today.

constantly ringing my daughters mobile, she answered one morning call and advised she is in the hospital, they rang every 20 minutes after that call until i got there at 5.30. i answer the phone and the woman kept telling me to stop talking when i was telling her the situation. once i told her i would take it further she hung up. 20 minutes later they rang again! absolute nuisance

Would not speak to me, just asked for the MD (by name) then when I wouldnt put the call through, just hung up.

It s a scam targeting elderly people trying to get direct debit set up for a free personal alarm they are very persistent and forceful

Call to my landline, with heavy Asian accent, for Mr.Whale No-one of that name here. This call was preceded by three others at 15 min intervals, with no-one speaking when I answered - all of which had no caller number given when I dialled 1471 & I suspect are from the same party

Venesta Washrooms - The same person calls our office 3 or 4 times a week asking for various people s phone numbers (Quantity Surveyors I understand, but they will ring for Site Managers, Labourers, HR, Accountants etc.) and then calls back the next week asking for the same information - she has asked us for one QS s number 4 times in the last week alone! Do not answer this number, they are a nuisance!

I did not catch the name of the company but they reported Ihad been in an RTA and asked me to confirm. I asked them to confirm the date and they refused so I explained that I had short term memory loss and they would have to remind me when it happened. They put the phone down!!
