Phoned and asked to speak to me on my work mobile by my birth name (which i never use) and said the nature of his call was regarding my road traffic accident - after asking for them to remove my details he proceeded to say i sounded "well fit, so i suppose..." and i hung up.. block block block!

Male voice left a message on answerphone asking me to call 01708547014 "As you are not insured".

Recently had sales call from this number asking about double glazed windows etc, would not let me speak and was very rude when I said I was not interested, so annoyed did 1471 found out number and searched online, this number didnt take incoming calls!!

called 10 times yesterday and twice from unknown number, once from a local number.

We only ever call existing customers and not for marketing purposes

I have been repeatedly called on my cellphone from this number, no message left at any time. Have ignored because I don t know anyone in Alton, Hampshire. Phoned the number back from a private landline and got a voice mail message saying "the person at extension 251 is unavailable, please leave your name..." etc. Very annonying!

Yep even blocked them, they just change number by one digit and call again!

Was called whilst driving so did not pick up. Put the number in and saw this thread. Quite amusing when I saw who was ringing. Maybe they like to cause the accident? Thank you for your comments - I ve saved number under a rude name ha ha ha

This number has called me this week at least 10 times already - Minimum 2 to 3 calls per day. We ignore it now but it is an incredible nuisance.

fed up receiving these calls - they should be banned.

hese people who rang me are actually uswitch and they saved me a lot of money on my energy bills ?260 a year to be exact! they are not just piggy backing as you like to call it.. And at the end of the day guys i know for a fact that these guys only call people and get your info from you doing surveys and its not like they are Robbing you on the street ffs!
