Yesterday I had a phone call from someone claiming g to be from the Crime Prevent Unit. He told me had been given my details by Building gas Control at Broadland Council. He asked me if I traded from my address and I said yes. His next question was "is your business doing well?" As I told him I could see no reason to give him that information he muttered something under his breath and hung up. This a scam of some sort and I wish I'd kept him on the line longer to find out but people beware!

Got a text from this number saying to go to the website to arrange a new appointment as "sam" due to unforseen curcumstances would not be in, and would be back next week. Sam is apparently from Borehamwood WW??? (I live in Borehamwood) i don t know what WW part stands for, and i have no appointment for anywhere in Borehamwood anyway. Pretending to call from my bank about fraudulent transactions on my account, those transactions were taking from my account, someone had access to my card number, didn't ask me any security questions, just telling me my account issues, and didn't sound professional, was an English man, I hung up and phoned my real bank instead.Fraud

SCAM. Supposed £900 and £1400 spend on amazon. I have no Amazon account.
It's a scam - someone claimed they are calling from O2 Chinese Customer Service center - they even know my personal details (e.g. name, number, email) and say I am involved with sending spamming text so need to file a record with chinese police. They gave me lots of details to verify their identity that makes them trustworthy. However, I reconfirmed with O2 that this is not their CS number - so it's only a spam call. Beware!
