Totally fed up with this company, receiving up to 4 calls a day. Even after speaking to a supervisor to have my number deleted, the calls keep coming!
SCAM This is a call centre saying it is a courtesy call due to an appliances warrantee expiring, on this instance it was a washing machine, so quite believable. They wanted £65 per year for another 3 years full cover. It sounded very genuine until she said that she wanted me to tell her the name and make of my appliance and i said that i was ok and didn't want to renew the warrantee as i'd had it for over 5 years, then they just hung up and the line went dead. Claimed to work for payment protection for all of the big banks and also knew my current address. Heard him bring up PPI after 5 minutes of miscommunications an told him to go to hell.

Very aggressive sales call from Vodafone (legit, the number is on their website). Keeps calling back despite me asking them not to. If you are a customer make a formal complaint, it takes 2 minutes using the form on their website. Not a nice way to treat loyal customers.

Completed a survey at Tenerife airport last month. Got a phone call today to say I had won 7 nights free luxury accommodation in either Florida, Turkey or Tenerife. Had to book my own flights. Wanted me to collect all the details in person in Regent Street, Liberty s. Also won a voucher for ?75. Sounded too good to be true so looked up the number and see that it is obviously a time share of sorts.

Possibly the same "Lady" (Based on accent) called again today asking for my wife, when politely asked what they wanted, initially guessed I was her husband, when asked again what they wanted, they told me they were asking the questions not me and that I should **** off before hanging up.

SCAM: Received a text to my mobile , supposedly from MY BRITISH GAS saying ' We were unable to accept your amount due, visit mybritishgas-uk.com to update'. Looked it up online, as I'm NOT with British Gas, and yes, it's a phishing text to get your bank details. Apparently the site it leads to is very realistic, and people have been caught out. Seems there is an email version too. Number blocked!
