Unknown caller who would not identify themselves or answer my questions as to how he had obtained my number. Insisted on calling me Sophia and said I was in Stockport. Both totally wrong. Wanted to offer me "benefits and bonuses" but could not get him to explain what these might be. Kept asking me questions about my situation which I refused to answer. He hung up.

I was getting calls from this number daily. I blocked it and then started getting calls from 0121 389 0867. This is blocked and suspect it ll switch to another very similar number. Just keep blocking.
National insurance FRAUD CALL
Left a voicemail saying "sorry I missed your call today regarding your energy renewal" please call me back quoting reference number and then gave a number - our energy isn t "up for renewal"!

Yes this is HSBC. I have an account with them and this was my LOCAL branch calling to make sure I was aware of changes and to ensure I was using the acc correctly. Very pleasant lady and took 5mins of my time. No problem to report.

Missed a call from 07477123333 this evening. Not sure if it is dangerous. Just checked my voicemail, it mentioned UPS and a Chinese lady's voice to get in touch. Cut the call immediately. DANGEROUS

Called both my landline and my mobile on a Sunday evening. Clearly a Birmingham number. I know the university does fundraising drives amongst alumni but these calls stress not just a nuisance but very intrusive. I understand the Uni says it wants to improve the lot of students but given the vast fees students have to pay that really do not equate to what they are provided with, I think it's a joke, not to say insulting, chasing alumni for money in this devious manner. Got a call proclaiming to be O2 offering 30% discount on phone bill free of charge for loyalty. The contract mentioned is 2 weeks old and I haven't paid a bill yet! I ended the call as soon as I could, if it's genuine I would have expected a text from O2 or an email.

Fraud - this is a call saying I have had fraud on my tax account
SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access.
