This is the Direct Line CLaims Line, they rang me as someone had damaged my car, and they were arranging repairs etc, so genuine number.

Lady called stating I had a recent car accident blah. Asked her how she got my number. She stated they got it from the Road Traffic Accident Claim Department. I said I d never heard of it. Was it a Government department. Long silent pauses at the other end. Repeatedly asked her to spell the name of her company. She rang off. Surprise surprise. Funnily enough I had been speaking to my insurance company (Covea) only 30 mins before asking how these scumbags get my mobile number. They don t know!

Received a call, foreign voice said ringing about accident I d had. They managed to get my name, address and accident details and sent me an email which they wanted me to open and click on the attachment to provide authority for them to send out documents for me to claim compensation. I told them I didn t need to claim compensation as only very minor whip lash, however they were very insistent saying that didn t matter and I was entitled to £3000 compensation. Persistent nuisance call - recorded message about govt grants etc. About three times a day.

I have got miss call from this number and I have no idea who was it, I called back but no one answer I think this number is VPN which is a digital robot from India or china
