Female called saying she was calling about an accident I had reported. I said I hadn t reported an accident and asked where she got the information from. She said she wasn t at liberty to say, then rudely went off on one, ending with it was my fault for not opting out, before slamming the phone down. Opting out of what..? Have blocked caller.

At the other end of the phone was a robotic recorded voice allegedly calling from HMRC to say that I had carried out fraudulent activity and that a warrant would be issued for my arrest unless I pressed 1 and followed the instructions. Just received a call from this number from a very rude and aggressive woman who launched straight into her prepared speech regarding replacement windows. I told her I was registered with the TPS and should not be receiving these type of calls and to remove me from their database, she talked over me aggressively saying this was a marketing call not a sales call and that the TPS didn t cover it. Spoke to Orange and demanded to have the calls stopped or as a loyal customer I will leave Orange. Lots of excuses but they accepted in end. I will leave if it happens again!
