Second time this number has called me this week and both times there was nobody on the line!

I received a text from this number, purporting to be from the UK magazine Private Eye : Earn extra cash for Xmas delivering and collecting Catalogues. Reply CAT for further details . Hope someone has more info on this no.

Claimed to be from talktalk with the scam that my broadband was faulty etc.

Asian sounding lady claiming to be from 118 118 and asked for all my company info in order to update the 118 online listing for my business. No doubt they will use this information to sell on to third parties. She then asked me if I had ever heard of Timpsons the cobblers!?

Was called whilst driving so did not pick up. Put the number in and saw this thread. Quite amusing when I saw who was ringing. Maybe they like to cause the accident? Thank you for your comments - I ve saved number under a rude name ha ha ha

Recorded man's voice American accent (code Guernsey). Something about "my account would be suspended" and "I should ring back by pressing a number" . ...

Pretended to be family friend of previous tenant whom died 6 years ago (aged 79) - I m certain that he didn t know any teenage asian girls!

they were trying to sell me a clip-on device for my phone to stop cold calling! how ironic! they were also asking for personal information. I just gave up in the end and politely but firmly told them to not call back.

I've had numerous calls from this number but haven't answered, they phoned at 9.30pm last night tried to ring it back but it just goes dead

Just took one of these calls. After reading from a script about a survey, they were polite enough to ask "Are you ready for the first question?". I replied "No!". They hung up :)

Apparently they are RTB UK Ltd I checked their site http://www.rtbuk.net/ it shows to be a debt collection agency. I would not trust them because they called my number looking for my brother who doesn t even live in the country!!! They would not tell me how they got it in the first place. Stay away.
