Received a missed call from 01277 557 626 - phoned back as number from Brentwood where I live. No ringing, goes straight to a strange robotic voice saying "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line while we transfer you to the next available agent" Then silence, no holding music. Hung up straight away as appears to be a bogus call - no company greeting and I doubt they ever transfer you to anyone. Just racking up your call time to get money.
Answered a call from this number and the caller immediately hung up and my land line went dead for a few minutes

Just been called by this number. I am a receptionist for an Opticians, and they said they were from HMRC, and wanted to speak to the owner of the company regarding research. Said they wished to speak to the person who does the Income Tax for the company. I said my boss was unavailable, and could I give her a message and a number to contact them on.
