Scam silent call, puts phone down
DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll likely be called back later by a very clever con-artist! Called me and was automated message from HMRC saying i owe etc. I hung up SCAM
This person identifies himself as Thomas from Adobe and has called us over and over to the point of harassment. He has been told that we wont put his call through to the person he wants to speak to as they don’t want his call. He tries to intimidate his way through, then sits mimicking me down the phone line and finally he leaves the line connected so nobody else can call us. The number even though a local number (0203 655 7035) has connections to India and the guy speaking has an Indian accent.
Just had a very unpleasent talk with a man who called from this number claiming he represents Warbrook & Co . He was very rude, he wanted to talk to my husband who was not at home and then he said it is about some money investment and it is urgent. He didn t sound credible and I would never have any bussiness with him.
