I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. Caller claimed to be working with BT to save us money on our BT bill. She was obviously lying as we don t use BT. Became aggressive when I refused to say who we did buy telephone service from. I suspect it s some type of scam.

Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Very aggressive male caller refusing to listen. ended up telling him (very rudely) to go away and hung up

Randomly messaged me saying "Hi number neighbour". Very strange and they only could have got my number through my mobile network provider. Marked as spam and deleted right away.
