Claimed they were expedite claims specialist, usual robotic woman who then passed you through to an indian call centre. I let him waffle, gave him some fake car details etc, kept him busy for about 10 minutes before hanging up. number now blocked.

I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.
TV Guard called me today, offering to reduce 'my' monthly charge from £7 to £5. Caller claimed to be working "at the back of the Government" offering a nationwide service to everyone who owns a television.
