AMAZON Authentic-sounding, recorded woman's voice claimed to be from "Amazon" advising that membership fee had been deducted from my account and gave me two options to press for follow up. SCAMScam. 'Christopher' from an 'accident claims line' regarding an accident on (correct date) that was 'not your fault'. This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). This number is connected to a computer security con – ignore and block. The Company names they give are Web Security Global, Microsoft 24 Security Support and Web Expert Security – ALL ARE non-existent. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. They have been reported to Trading Standards and to the Police.

SCAM - pretend to be Airbnb wanting a confirmation payment working as part of a group advertising false flats via Facebook marketplace for rent to be booked through Airbnb for a couple of months before going onto a rental agreement with the ‘host’ - once money is paid they say that someone from air bnb will be in touch to hand over keys and sign agreements etc but never hear from them again.
