I always receive most unknown telephone calls altogether over a 24 hour period and then get nothing for 1-2 weeks. Today at 10.30 am I received a call from a man who with-held his number requesting to speak to me by name and I replied to him not known .He was very rude and did not introduce himself when I asked who is speaking. SCAM / SPAM An automated call, claiming to be from HMRC, stating that there was a concern under my name (never started my name though), threatening arrest if I didn't press 1 to go through.
Multiple calls to my work telephone in a school. Have pressed 9 to be taken off list but still calling. Calling at least 2-3 times per day. Nuisance.
This number claims to be calling from HMRC telling me there's a fraud case registered under my name. I didn't listen to the whole automated message but I'm sure if HMRC really want me, they'll write me a letter.
