Claiming I had a car accident and they can help with the claim, when challenged how they obtained my number (registered on TPS) they became very aggressive and abusive. Clearly they operating some sort of scam. Once you begin to challenge them they shut down they will hang up and place you on hold and refuse to give any credible information which would allow you to then report the issue appropriately to get them shutdown.

This number called our business line today. When I answered, a man asked to speak to the business owner. Something about his tone and wording instantly set off alarms that this was a cold sales call, as we receive hundreds of them and I ve grown used to the language they use. I asked who was calling. He gave his name, but no more, so I asked what company he was calling from. He instantly got very defensive and accused me of interrogating him. I responded that I was simply doing my job of ascertaining

Mobile went off with this number calling me. Ignored it and cancelled the call. Yet another cold call that's cold call no 1 today :P

Assume from previous post that this is a telemarket company. I no longer pick up the phone until I hear a familiar voice or recognise the caller as genuine; then do 1471; then a ph. no. enquiry site. My friends have got used to this and it saves more aggravation.

Keep calling for a debt I don t have. Ignorant and moronic people at the other end do not understand the Data Protection Act and despite requests not to call back they do at least 5 times a day. They are social terrorists and scum. They should find a cliff and jump.
