have had a few calls form this numer speradically. when i answer i hear a sort of bouing sound then nothing for 10~seconds, then they just hang up. when i call back im directed to EE voice mail claiming the person cant accept the call at the moment
Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. Caller asked to speak to person who wasn t in. Told to phone again after 6pm (4 hours away). Received 2 further calls from this number within 30 minutes of original call so caller obviously doesn t listen.

Scam is to get Yr correct information name dob.. address and ask u for the 2 letter and 2nd 4th letter of your national insurance number then they say it does NOT match put u in fear that if u don't confirm correct details BTW now with NI BUT with 1st letter, 1st 3rd and last letter of NI. Call from man (no gentleman) with Indian accent who claimed to be from Microsoft Technical Department. When I jokingly replied that I was from Microsoft fraud department he ranted down the phone at me for 15 minutes in abusive language before he eventually hung up. I have had scam calls before but this one was downright offensive.
