They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.

Scam. Definitely. So-called call from "security department". I asked 'security department' of what? The woman (Asian voice - lots of background "office" noise) repeated, 'This is the Security Department!' to which I repeated "Of what?!" She hung up. Point made. Case closed. Catch the bastards!

I had a call from 01926893111 which was probably a dentist with whom I had made a web enquiry. But I did not answer and they did not leave any message. I suspect that the number has been wrongly registered on your database as entering the number which called me brings me to this page.

A company calling themselves "Housing Disrepair Management" falsely claiming I reported a problem to a housing association and trying to get details from me, despite the fact that they couldn't tell me my name or where I lived. Received an automated call from this number today on my landline, saying there were 2 suspicious transactions on my card one on Amazon, and the other for a International Money Transfer. Press 1 to accept, or 2 to Talk. Suspect call, as mentioned no customer name or bank name, and usually the landline is not used for any such services. Nevertheless checked with Banks. No such information being processed.

they called me twice no caller id claiming to know the last four digits of my card, part of my address (which was wrong) and saying i made a transaction on the weekend which i did not, they sent me a code and it said to add my card to their apple pay, so obviously they were trying to take my credit card details and commit fraud on my account, they kept saying im verified my identity they then went silent when i said ill call my bank, called bank and they said yep my account is secure and that was a phising.

"Max" tel.no. 01292388212 called my house phone and asked for me by surname. I didn't confirm. He then told me that I didn't have cover for central heating. It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft.
