Had a voicemail from this no. (very scripted). Northern Gas & Power trying to sell energy. I don't think it's a scam (and if legit their reviews on trustpilot seem reasonable). That said it was an unsolicited sales call, and I don't look after the gas and electricity anyway!

SPAM I kept getting calls from this number and then a doggy voicemail saying we will take legal action. The voicemail sounded like a robot.

Claiming they call from HMRC with a court case against your name. After started asking questions about some proof they work for HMRC, they started panicking and said I can look up the case on the website of UK's Supreme Court. Plot twist - there is no Supreme Court in the UK.

Called about a motorcycle accident only 6 days ago (about which I'd only spoken to insurance company) - their info was several days old and when I asked who they were and why they were contacting me they asked why I was being rude and then hung up! - all the signs of a dodgy '3rd party claims vulture' if you ask me!!
Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to. This number has called several times, including 9 calls today. Young man called Chris - claiming he’s an energy advisor in this area. Answered once - told him I’m not the property owner and he hung up. Just answered - told him I’d already spoken to him and he just said “nice talking to you” and hung up.

SCAM This person didn’t know who they were speaking to ( my name). Said I was eligible for a free medical emergency pendant… I asked how they had got my number and said was given them by manager. Just kept repeating his name and same phrase and not answering questions. If this is actually a real call it’s a weird way of going about things. Asked if I was over 50 at the beginning so watch out!!
