This is considered a scam and fraud telephone as my ageing parents were contacted by this so called PPI Team, I took over the call as my parents could not understand these cold calling scammers wanted from them. SCAM ... Indian who told me my Visa card had an attempt made on it to transfer funds overseas, originating from Western Australia. Started asking me if I also did transactions on the computer or internet with my account. I asked him why he needed to know that and he hung up.

I got a call from them just couple minutes ago. The lady knew my name and address, I don?t know if postcode was right as she had really bad accent. She started to ask some stupid questions such as if I have Sky at home or washing machine. I just said bye. But she knew my details and it scares me.

SCAM - clearly someone trying to get info about bank details. Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1. Person then answers but does not know name/details etc & tries to get you to give details. Be really careful with this number - clearly fraudsters/scammers.
