this number text me saying this is their new number and had lost contacts. They asked so send numbers of people we both knew. I stupidly thought it was my aunt Sue, and sent my mum, cousin and Nan s numbers. Received an automated message purporting to be from Barclays saying there had been attempted fraudulent activity on my old Barclaycard and that they would text me details. This they did, saying that they would call me from 01628778331. The scammers have ways of making a call appear to come from a genuine number. The call appeared to come from this number and they asked for my new card number and DoB. After the call was finished, I thought about it and called the Barclay's Customer Service number on the back

i had this number call me and a lady with an indian accent talked to me about some fortune company thing. i did not say any personal information other then it was me she saw Talking too( she knew my name) when she asked about if my fortune had decreesed or increesed in the last year i got even more suspissious and tryed to get some information out of her about the company she was working for. but then she hung up....
