Call from Indian Call Centre to house phone. Caller refused to give name and asked general questions. I cut him off and told him the call was being monitored and recorded. Phone went dead immediately ! !

phishing "calling about your recent accident" (none, obvs) - refuses to answer where they got my number when asked and hangs up. When called back number is not recognised.

2 calls this week including one at 7.15pm. I don t have any contacts in Brighton so didn t answer

A call saying I may qualify for a free medi alert. Asked if over 50, did I need a walking stick and did I have health problems. When I answered no they put the phone down. Scam?

Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. She simply said "a grant company". I asked what their name was. She was very evasive but eventually said "Nationwide Energy." I asked what their address was but said she didn t know(!).
