Received a call, foreign voice said ringing about accident I d had. They managed to get my name, address and accident details and sent me an email which they wanted me to open and click on the attachment to provide authority for them to send out documents for me to claim compensation. I told them I didn t need to claim compensation as only very minor whip lash, however they were very insistent saying that didn t matter and I was entitled to £3000 compensation. Been receiving calls from this number. They said they were from o2mobiles. They then proceeded to ask what network my phone is with. I am with o2, so knew there was something dodgy going on. I asked twice to be removed from their calling list before they hung up. The telephonist tried to argue with me asking if I even knew why they were calling.

Went to voicemail so only caught half the message as it was prerecorded, mentioned HMRC... Something about "registered under your name, press 1 and your call will be connected to the officer dealing with the case if you don't press on the warrant will be issued under your name and you will be arrested shortly." I thought this was a cold call. Not the case. It belongs to Gledhill boiler company, who were trying to contact me about an issue with my boiler. This is a Blackpool based company.
