I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Tried on two occasions to get a better deal at the end of my 24 month contract, not offered anything worth staying for especially after being a customer for 10 + years. I requested PAC via online chat as others did commenting here. Very painful experience, given the hard sell from retention team and then made very awkward to extract PAC number from them. Subsequently they rang me on said number begging for me to return ? Too late! I wouldn?t go back if it was free.
