fell for these guys too, using another number 02476231293. for western guardian, a company that does exist but it seems don t actually sell any newspapers, did some checks with friends in the newspaper industry and they don t exist. its a scam, fake newspaper website to trick you into thinking they are legit, when asking about distribution numbers and areas they couldn t tell me, went on hold and then reeled off some local place names. everything on their website is password protected so you cant actually r

I received a call from this number claiming to be calling from a company (don t remember the name of the company) and is calling in relation to an enquiry that I had made online and asked me to confirm DOB and my address for security purposes. I asked what was the enquiry in relation to? He refused to answer and asked for me to confirm my details first. I missed one payment in 25 years becasue I was abroad and forgot to pay before my holiday. My next statement says to pay by a date next week which I will do and it includes the missed payment. Fair enough you would think? I get calls throughout the day from this number and nobody is on the other end. I also get text messages telling me to make a payment now. LITTLEWOODS are about to lose my custom and I am not paying the £12 they charged me fo missing that payment.

I just had this number call,line went dead after a few seconds listening but not speaking.

Left no message, comes in as NUNES.

Missed 3 calls within 5 minutes. Answered the next one and they hung up. Just another spam call factory by the sounds of it. Needs to be banned!

A man claimed he was from a company called "Speed" who rudely demand to know why I hadn t made a claim for the accident I d apparently been in. The last accident I d been involved in was a few years ago and upon hearing me start to explain this he hung up before I finished speaking. This is clearly a scam hoping to either get some personal details to allow them to commit identity fraud or to falsely extract money from me.

Alleged Accident Claims Co. Indian accent. Became abusive when asked for his details. Reported to OFCOM.
