Called on my landline today at 7.44am. Definitely Indian call centre scam call so I hung up straight away.

Its ao call centre, they try to sell you their insurance as others have said it, if you are not interested be polite and say bye otherwise they will keep try to chat.

Dropped what I was doing & raced downstairs to answer persistent call. Man with an unidentifiable accent garbled something against a cacophony of background noise sounding like the Call Centre from Hell. I asked him to repeat his sentence. He said " can I speak to the owner of the business?" Puzzled, I said " business?" At which point he rudely disconnected the call. welsh woman called about insurance if said "no thanks" - she called me a kunt

I got a call at work and a female welsh voice said `I understand you are under 60 years old and therefore you qualify for a pensions bonus payment of £1,000 which you will receive within the next 60 days. Please press 5 to speak to us". Presumably yet another scam to try and get bank details or name and address

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!

They said they are from vodafone, I have asked them few questions to confirm if they really have access to my account and it s not legit, it s a scam people.

Called at 0930 by Microsoft who advised that I have a "computer problem" I asked for and given this number for verification. BEWARE this is a confidence trick - switch the call to BT Protect if you have it.
