I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up. Not worried or frightened, just a bit miffed that they won t have a conversation with me. We re not really allowed to speak with other adults on my high security wing and by constantly calling me, there s a risk that my handset will be discovered. Claimed to be from my Internet provider & gave me my Account number to identify themselves. I rang provider separately and they confirm that NO call came from them.

This claims to be from Facebook but it was just a number and the location is Manchester/Burnley - this is not how FB normally sends 2 Factor ID. Is it a scam number?

had a call from this number today (8th November 2016) and asked me if I'm a claim management company or if I'm a solicitor. when I said no to both, the man hung up!

call flagged up as International, so didn t reply. Looked on another site and all reports said it was a scam and they d recently put ad on Gumtree, as had I.

This number rang me cold selling when I said “no I’m ok thanks” she said “ what do you mean your ok, you weirdo” so rude !
