SCAM Apparently calling from Sky technical team, said there had been Internet errors in the last 2 days and for them to rectify it I need to open my laptop and follow their instructions.... I asked the caller to verify they were from Sky and the caller went silent then hung up. Be careful people.

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. Scammers, said from company Smart Selections about loft insulation. The company was dissolved by comulsory strike off in 2018, when asked for a return phone number they hung up.
No idea who this was but as they left no voice mail I can only assume it to be bogus, some kind of sales cold call .

Very abrupt chap called Charles said he was from Domestic Appliances and would not let me get a word in edgeways. He said my appliances were no longer covered as my insurance had run out. I asked him which appliance had recently lapsed insurance - he wouldn't answer just said "are all your appliances in working order. I said I already had appliance cover - he put the phone down.
This number was used by my local Peugeot garage/dealership where I take my car for MOT, servicing and repairs reminding me that my car is due for MOT.
