This number is one of a number of similar numbers calling one of our staff with a recorded message claiming to wnat to sell PPI , loans and claiming to be linked to Nat West No person ever actually speaks and th UK rules on this type of thing. I suspect this number has been hijacked by a untrustworthy marketing organisation abroad

14 Dec 2021 - Spam caller. I didn't accept the call, so rejected it upon my phone ringing as mine always tells me when it's a spam call during the ringing. Have since blocked it as I'm not as gullible as the spammer thinks. No idea who the spam call was from, but from experience I knew it was one of the many spam calls I've been getting for the past ten days at least. Recorded message purportedly from HMRC. Apparently I owe them money ( I don’t by the way). I recently had a similar call from a different number to my landline, also supposedly from HMRC but that one was telling me there was a warrant out for my arrest for non payment of tax! Too ridiculous for words but anyone who is vulnerable could easily be frightened by calls like this.
Caller claimed to be from “…mumbled words… breakdown service” and announced that “this call is about your renewal payment”. For the service I didn’t know I had.

SCAM This is a call centre saying it is a courtesy call due to an appliances warrantee expiring, on this instance it was a washing machine, so quite believable. They wanted £65 per year for another 3 years full cover.
