SCAM Call on my mobile. Said I had ordered from Amazon and £400 would be charged on my registered credit card. I don't have an Amazon account so they don't have my number. As I was having lunch I hung up.
Vanquis; pure harrasment. I now have 6 different numbers, mobile and landlines all from the same source. Am communicating with company, written, but calls still come. Will report to FCA soon.

4th March 2022 Called on my friends phone but hung up when I answered. My friend died three months ago and as executer for his estate I have his phone. Call log shows they also called on 22nd Feb 2022 but no message left so the number has been active for at least two weeks.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. The business directory phones my office about 6 times a day. Most of the time they wait until I answer before they simply hang up. Other times they ask for my company details.
