Claiming I had a car accident and they can help with the claim, when challenged how they obtained my number (registered on TPS) they became very aggressive and abusive. Clearly they operating some sort of scam. Once you begin to challenge them they shut down they will hang up and place you on hold and refuse to give any credible information which would allow you to then report the issue appropriately to get them shutdown.

Call is from 0121 Birmingham. Sounds as far away as India where a lot of cold calls originate - speakers usually have heavy Indian accents and difficult to comprehend but when you ask, they are unable to answer simple questions if it deviates from the script. They reluctantly then drop in they are "BT" calling. Next time I feel like acting out I m cooperating just to see how far it goes and how eager they get when they think they ve hooked me !
