This guy called me and he said he was a member of the association AML "anti money laundering" in UK and international also. He pretended he could recover money from crypto websites. Spam call. Tried to tell me they were from Currys PC World and peddle some phone upgrade. Not at Currys PC World customer, so why would they have my number, clearly fake. When I asked why they would contact me if I am not a customer they just hung up.
Said she was conducting a survey for Herts council. Told her I was registered with Telephone preference and she had no idea what I was talking about. Then I hung up but will advise my council that their ‘survey’ is an unwelcome and unnecessary waste of money.
