Caller claimed to be from Talktalk legal dept in London, despite being Birmingham number. Said they needed to connect me to their server to investigate illegal access from abroad. Tried to talk me through downloading Teamviewer and give him the ID and password! Rang off when I said I would report to police.

Dropped what I was doing & raced downstairs to answer persistent call. Man with an unidentifiable accent garbled something against a cacophony of background noise sounding like the Call Centre from Hell. I asked him to repeat his sentence. Called me today claiming to be from Sky. He said my account would be suspended for 60 days because some lady called Angelina had tried to hack into my sky account. Got very aggressive when I told him I would not be logging onto my computer and then hung up on me.
