Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. AMAZON Authentic-sounding, recorded woman's voice claimed to be from "Amazon" advising that membership fee had been deducted from my account and gave me two options to press for follow up. Sounded suspicious so I just hung up. I called 0471 which gave me the number recorded here and then said: "Please hang up".

Called from “the financial institution” wouldn’t clarify who that was or where they got my data, she got very angry when I questioned her and accused me of “playing around” and “being very rude” and then hung up on me.

Number called our business in Peterborough UK at 09:59 this morning. Follows the pattern of numerous calls we have had recently. We answered, but did not speak. The caller was on automated response waiting a voice from our end and when none was given the line was cut from the other end. Who Called Me indicates the call came from the Russian Federation Mordovia region and was therefore similar to one last week we had from Russian Federation Penza region. Map now shows this was Russian Trade Delegation in UK.
