When I said I had no connection to Carphone Warehouse, she said this was a promotion call about some Samsung mobile. I doubted whether it was from Carphone Warehouse. Very pushy but convincing girl at the end of the phone - said they were calling because I had entered a competition to win a trip to New York and so was eligible for ten free lines on Euro Millions. Sounded vaguely legitimate until she started asking me for personal details - date of birth, etc... "to confirm I was over 18". Told her I wasn t prepared to give any personal information over the phone to a call centre and she hung up. More convincing than the usual scammers - but still dodgy as. Block this num

Been called a couple of times from this number claiming I have money owed to me from a third party in my last crash. There was no third party involved, only myself, yet they keep on ringing and telling me this (presumably they want my bank details). When I explain that they are totally in the wrong and there is no money owed to me they have become VERY RUDE. Received a call, but they hung up within a few seconds of me answering and without saying anything. I called the number back but the call was answered and immediately hung up.
Said they were wanting information so they would tell me how much PPI I was owed. Wanted my borrowing history over 15 years. They asked me security questions but I kept saying I didn t know who there were and not happy to give out personal information. Conversation kept going in circles as they couldn t give me answers I wanted. Called me Mrs which has never been my status!

Since I blocked this in November 2016 my phone has blocked 31 calls from them! You have thought they would have took the hint by now
