Today, someone called my number and claimed that they needed to repair my house. When I told them that they were a scammer, they immediately disconnected. The person sounded like they were from India and struggled with English.
Claiming TFL congestion charge is unpaid and to click on link We deleted the message immediately

Automated call sounded foreign with music in background. Didn’t answer call they/ it left voicemail.
BEWARE FRAUD/PHISHING. Got number from public info then leaves a message asking for the boss to call him back on 07561133885 - didn't leave a name, company name, email or anything - smells like a phishing attempt.

SCAM This number is being used in association with a squareup.com SCAM The email looks like it comes from [email protected], this is actually real email address, a scammer is using squareup's platform to send fake invoices to people's emails in hopes they will call the number in the invoice. Calling from a woman with a foreign accent difficult to understand She was talking about some promo with O2 mobile but wasnt quite making sense on the direction of the call
I was called on my mobile from this number at 15.05 on 4 May 2023. I didn't get to the phone before it stopped ringing and there was no message left. On 24 April 2023, I was also called from a number in the same range, that is 0141 320 0285, with exactly the same results. I've now blocked both numbers, but no doubt they could call me next week from 0141 320 0275 or similar! I've given it the benefit of the doubt with a rating of Annoying. I think it's actually likely to be Dangerous.
