A Google search suggests that the number, if genuine, belongs to a company called Steel Plus 1, based in Romford, Essex.

I got a call from them just couple minutes ago. The lady knew my name and address, I don?t know if postcode was right as she had really bad accent. She started to ask some stupid questions such as if I have Sky at home or washing machine. I just said bye. But she knew my details and it scares me.

This is considered a scam and fraud telephone as my ageing parents were contacted by this so called PPI Team, I took over the call as my parents could not understand these cold calling scammers wanted from them. This I was chatting with was foreign and this call was made on a very bad line, sure this was from a amateur VoIP telecoms company (which Digital Mail fits the description) since I never heard of this company until I read the comments on this page about Digital Mail. Rings constantly pretending to be talk talk. As an X talk talk customer I have challenged them on this and the caller will just go quiet and hang up. Often I just hang up and sometimes they will ring straight back and hang up on me - as if almost to get back at me!! Will not stop calling. Need reporting

had a call from this number today (8th November 2016) and asked me if I'm a claim management company or if I'm a solicitor. when I said no to both, the man hung up!

Told me that my computer was being hacked

Said something about being just about to email over financial trading reports for spread betting. When asked if they had the wrong number they hung up - presumably expecting me to call back.

Apparently from BT advising there were "irregurlarities" on my network and that they would disconnect me unless I pressed "1" for instructions. Almost certainly a scam so I declined the invitation.

Fake number so definitely a scam. These calls originate from outside of the UK.

It s an Umbrella Payroll Company for Contractors. I checked out their website as I m unhappy with my current one, and saw the missed call from them (this number), promptly followed by a text message. Googled the missed call number, saw the text 1min later and out 2+2 together.

Wanted to close accident insurance claim. Told them to contact my insurance company. Asked where information came from told "men in black . They then hung up! Very angry to receive this call.
