Caller claiming to be from Microsoft Yahoo wanted to check something relating to my Yahoo Local business listing that required I was at a computer. I m out of the office so they said they would call back later. Sounds like a scam.
SCAM possibly. Called workplace land line. Pretended to be Virgin Media. Young man from South Asia. Convinced I had problems with the wifi and they had warnings. unable to clarify what about. Then he asked how many devices were connected and hung up! I was just enjoying that! :-(
SPAM. A lady called saying she represents a company that sells mobile phones at high discounts. My phone is just fine thank you very much!
SCAM - This number texted 30th Sept 2020 saying my PayPal account closed and provided a link which tried to make it look like it's from PayPal but it isn't. My PayPal has not been closed. Do not press on the link.

Went through to my answerphone as out, could hear someone breathing then they muttered "f***" and put the phone down without leaving a message.

SPAM Although this call comes up as being from Southampton; it is not. Both my husband and I have had this call several times. On examination, the very nice lady called Jenny said she was calling from South East Asia. I was polite to her and asked that we are taken off he calling list as these continous calls were an absolute nuiscance.

PPI call from BPC - Black Pearl Claims. Absolute scam, they ve used several different numbers to call me from, and I ve never bought a PPI in my life. I d love to know who sold them my number since I don t use it when filling out forms and such.

Rang my mobile briefly and then stopped. No message left. Probably trying to get me to call them back. I ve had a lot of this type of call lately and they re always from telemarketers or accident claims hawkers, so draw your own conclusions about this one.

Pretending to be "national accident database." Ambulance chasers. Put phone down..They may know your name even if ex directory. Makes you think where the leak is!
Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!
