This was an automated call claiming to be from a bank (unspecified), warning me about two purchases through Amazon, on my bank card. I had a similar call for a local number earlier in the day. I didn't click 1 or 2 to authorise or to get help. Apparently the number is a landline in Bangalore!

The person at this number asked for my wife by name and was asking if she was doing ok after her auto accident (which we know nothing about and haven't had). He identified himself as representing "Motor Assist". If you phone the number, it automatically goes to an automated message claiming to be "Motor Assist" and asks you to leave a message.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. SCAM Caller claimed to be from Energy Grant Advisory Service working k behalf of local council. I could find no such company online e, or on the local district council website. The caller did not understand what I meant when I said I had registered for TPS and insisted that he was no trying to sell anything. Was pushy on the call even after I said he should not be making an unsolicited call to this number and asking him to remove the nu ber from his contact list
Constantly call 3-4 times a day. My wife answered it once, Indian call centre from Derby. Do not answer or call back, they may eventually get the message. Should be made illegal.
