This number rang my mobile today. Caller was male, but the line very crackly, so I was unable to catch what they were saying. Quality of the line makes me think it was being rerouted from elsewhere in the world. They haven't rung back so I can only assume it was a phishing type call. I have blocked it.

They say they are calling from a credit investigation bureau, which is very doggie. Do not trust
Fraud The automated caller announced that "your national insurance number has been blocked due to illegal activity. Pess 1 now speak to an officer or risk immediate arrest". A very threatening and harrasment call. One of the worst kind of spam calls i have ever received
It was an automated call and they claimed to be calling me about a car crash I was supposedly involved in. Needless to say, I have not been involved in an accident. Typical scum cold callers.

I had a missed call from this number and having read here that it was a debt collection company I panicked that I had forgotten to pay something! So the man on the phone searched my number and in the meantime asked for my surname. I replied that surely he should know my surname as it was them who called me. This unrecognised number called me yet again! Initially, I did not answer but then fearing it might be Check & Trace I tried to ring it back. It just cuts off so clearly either spam, scammers or phishing. DO NOT ANSWER. I've now BLOCKED it.
