scam regarding national insurance fraud called my mobile and as soon as I hung up called my home phone

Called on the half hour (which is a dead giveaway for cold callers) - not payign attention so I hung up. Why do they do it? Wasting my time as well as theirs and I m not likely to answer a second time am I?? (barred call)

A chap called Liam called to speak to me about my recent road accident. Interesting, although I ve been in no such accident. This is the 7th or 8th time receiving calls like this. I d love to know where they are getting their information from.

It is not a valid number. London code is 020, next digit should be 3 or 7 or 8.

Caller said she was in nearby Devon city and was calling about a car accident. Told her I don t have a car and she hung up. Did 1471 and this London number came up.

Left automated voicemail, female american accent says she is satah wilson from hm revenue and i need to contact them or face legal consequence. Stupid scammers as if hm revenue will leave voicemail that too in american accent.

Company keeps contacting me, landline and mobile, re road traffic accident last year, advising I am due a large amount of money!

Phone rang and automated voice said this is a call for (my name) if you can take the call press 1. Then it went to hold music. Then a guy answered from CARS and said hello and asked for the first line of my address. I asked who the company was and why they needed my address. He said it was for security. I said I wasn t giving details until they told me why. They said a business associate of mine had passed on my details. I asked who. Had a dozen or more phone calls today. Rang back, got message "your call is important to us, please hold the line for one of our agents" then line goes silent and wait...
