called on me on mobile asking my name and address and saying that I had been in an accident over the last year (I haven t) I laughed at the caller, told her I don t drive (which I don t)and don t have a car (which I don t). She insisted that I had reported an accident to an insurance company (again I haven t). I said that I had no idea where she got my number from but could she please delete it from her list and not call again - she kept on talking over me and no matter what I said, she just kept on talki

This number called twice this week, both times trying to sell renewable energy products (probably solar panels) but pretending to be a survey. The number doesn t display as withheld.

Caller initially claimed to be calling from the University of Sussex, asking me to undertake an online research survey. Then they wanted our email address, and I enquired why was that necessary if the survey was online - all they needed to do was provide me with the web address. The caller later later confirmed they were an independent market research company , and continued to ask for my email address. Of course, I never provided it.

Person asking to confirm if I had been involved in a car accident. Timewasting call of a type I seem to get regularly!

Called at 1737hrs 21st July 2015. Pre-recorded message about PPI claiming. When called back - number is not recognised - a digit has been left out. Another for the Call Blocker.

Apparently it s vanquis collections, I wouldn t mind if I had missed a payment of excess amounts but I missed £3.64! Not enough to warrant constant calls from this and other numbers that they use.

Automated message. Said they were Amazon informing me of a payment that I had made and if I hadn't made it I should press 1. Sounded dodgy but not sure.

Caller claims to be Talk Talk Technical Department. When prompted, she asked to speak to someone whose name could have been the previous subscriber.

Again say they produce activity books for disabled children and claimed they been in touch last year and it wasn t a good time for me then so calling now as would love to have me onboard. When I had no recollection of such a conversation & explained I was with a client she ploughed on with the fact that I d see a copy of my advert to proof before it went to print etc etc. I asked what company she thought she was phoning & she stated my company name that s only been in existence for 3months so story doesn t

A woman rang saying she was from St Helens; some recycleing company. Said she could get a grant for windows, doors conservatories or boilers. Said she would ring back later. Immediatley the phone went down a man rang. Think this is some kind of hard sell/ scam type of call.

Told me he had detected my wireless connection was slow and they had been monitoring it for two weeks on the DNS server. He said my computer had a virus and needed me to connect to the internet so he could fix it. I told him I was an IT manager and he was talking nonsense and to go forth and multiply. He rang back and replied likewise and called me derogatory names. Don t be fooled by callers from this number telling you your computer has a virus. Hang up!!!

I was asked to speak tot he business owner so knew straight away it was a cold call to which I said no thank you and put the phone down. To which the caller rang back and was somewhat aggressive the next time stating that I had put the phone down on him and that he would e-mail my director telling him what I had done then proceeded to hang up on me. Having read the previous comment, there is no surprise why he behaved in this way!
